Eat Your Art Out — MFF 2024
In 2024, the Melbourne Fringe Festival partnered with Little Rocket to produce a vibrant suite of promotional videos and photography for its official festival launch. The aim was to capture the festival’s bold, eclectic, and welcoming spirit while introducing its unique “Food” theme in a way that would spark curiosity and drive engagement.
The creative brief called for content that showcased the diversity of performances, highlighted the inclusive and family-friendly nature of the festival, and created a strong sense of FOMO, making it clear that MFF 2024 was an experience not to be missed. The tone needed to be playful, intriguing, and exhilarating, balancing a sense of fun with a professional, polished execution.

The AV team handled everything from concept development, ideation, and storyboarding to set design, production, and final delivery. Little Rocket delivered a successful hero campaign video, artist-focused vignettes, and still photography, featured in their annual program guide and on billboards across Melbourne’s CBD. Each asset was designed to amplify the festival’s personality – silly, camp, and irresistibly engaging, while encouraging audiences to connect online and book tickets.
The hero video posted on Instagram quickly gained over 10,526 plays and 331 likes, with positive organic engagement helping drive traffic to the festival’s website. Through creative direction, high-energy cinematography, and strategic platform targeting, Little Rocket delivered a campaign that not only met the brief but elevated the festival’s brand presence. The final result perfectly balanced playful eccentricity with professional polish, capturing the essence of MFF 2024 and leaving audiences hungry for more.

“We love it. It’s really got the right tone for us – so silly and camp in the best possible way. It’s in such a good spot, so we’re all really excited. That’s kind of it really. Its so great and we’re stoked.
Incredible work with the campaign content! Gahhh love it so much!”
