Reconciliation Action Plan — Reflect

Art ManagementGraphic Design
GS E&C Australia partnered with Little Rocket to design their first Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), creating a visually compelling document that celebrates their reconciliation journey.

GS E&C Australia needed a culturally grounded design that honoured a commissioned artwork by Wurundjeri / Yorta Yorta artist Simone Thomson while meeting both GS E&C Australia and Reconciliation Australia branding requirements. They wanted a professional, accessible, and visually engaging RAP to reflect their organisational values and commitments.

Little Rocket translated Simone Thomson’s cultural story and visual motifs into a cohesive design for the 17-page RAP and accompanying pull-up banner. We worked closely with GS E&C Australia to integrate the artwork in a way that maintained its meaning, respected cultural protocols, and ensured the final design was accessible, professional, and aligned with both corporate and Reconciliation Australia branding. Our approach balanced cultural integrity with a polished, engaging layout to communicate the organisation’s reconciliation aspirations effectively.

The completed RAP is a visually striking, accessible document that celebrates GS E&C Australia’s first steps on their reconciliation journey. The pull-up banner extends the artwork into the workplace, reinforcing the organisation’s commitment and sparking engagement among staff and stakeholders. The project has strengthened GS E&C Australia’s cultural narrative and demonstrated their leadership in reconciliation.

“Working with Little Rocket on our Reflect RAP has been an outstanding experience from start to finish. Their team delivered a beautifully designed RAP document and accompanying pull-up banner, demonstrating exceptional creative skill and a deep understanding of our brief.

What stood out most was their collaborative approach. When we encountered challenges, Little Rocket worked with us openly and constructively to find a practical, high-quality solution. Their willingness to negotiate contract inclusions and propose a make-good pathway ensured the final product met our standards without compromising on design integrity.

Throughout the project, they were responsive, professional, and genuinely invested in achieving the best outcome. I would not hesitate to recommend Little Rocket to anyone seeking a design partner who brings both creativity and reliability to the table.”
