ARENA Reconciliation Action Plan — Reflect
The Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) is an Australian Government agency supporting improvements in the competitiveness and supply of renewable energy in Australia. It engaged Little Rocket to design its first Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).
An organisation’s first RAP – the Reflect RAP – is a huge milestone in its journey towards supporting reconciliation through its work. With 15 years of experience designing hundreds of RAPs, Little Rocket was ready to take on the task. ARENA also required support copyediting a RAP explainer document for internal circulation, as well as designing a suite of internal rollout assets – an email signature, Zoom background, screensaver and e-news banner. These assets helped make the RAP content digestible for ARENA’s team.
ARENA commissioned Bayila Creative to create an artwork reflecting ARENA’s work and reconciliation journey, for use across the RAP. The artwork is ‘Sharing Knowledge’ by Bitja, Dixon Patten Jnr. Little Rocket carefully designed the RAP and additional assets following the comprehensive artwork style guide provided by Bayila Creative.
Our design team is so proud of ARENA’s final Reflect RAP and asset suite. The blue and green colour scheme and organic motifs evoke a thriving natural world, aligning with ARENA’s mission.
“Little Rocket delivered ARENA’s first Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) and supporting assets, thoughtfully integrating our bespoke Indigenous artwork to create a cohesive and purposeful visual identity.
As a First Nations agency, they brought valuable cultural insight, and the design process was smooth, professional and aligned with our organisational needs. Overall, the experience was positive, and the final materials demonstrate real care and quality.”
