Employee Value Proposition
Little Rocket was engaged by the University of Sydney to conduct a comprehensive Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Employee Value Proposition (EVP) report, encompassing gathering feedback, research, analyse and a review the current EVP. The project aimed to provide key recommendations for the University of Sydney to strengthen its position for First Nations employment.
Beginning with consultations, we collaborated with the University of Sydney team to identify three key competitors, outlining the report’s scope. The research phase involved a three-week process, incorporating a desktop audit and on-site visits to the University of Sydney and two competitors for in-depth insights. We further conducted employee interviews with First Nations staff at the University.

We developed a communications strategy informed by key findings from the Employee Value Proposition report. The University of Sydney implemented several of these tactics, incorporating the campaign tagline and producing a video piece.
The EVP report covered findings, the University of Sydney’s current positioning, and that of each competitor, including proof points, target segments, media channels, creative aspects and available roles. Recommendations were provided to enhance the University of Sydney’s recruitment activities and appeal to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees. Little Rocket designed the report adhering to the University of Sydney’s brand guidelines.
